So, every nation that has people from other nations as citizens should just chuck their flag, their history and their national identity or just the US? Why should any country whose citizens have shed blood, sweat and tears for it do that?

Do you just throw out your identity whenever someone new walks into your home?

A flag is just a flag. All of them represent ignorance. I love the many cultures and people that make up our planet. Why is there the need to get angry towards someone that claims what he believes? Why not respond in such a way that makes one not the ignorant one with unproductive responses that are made up of nothing more than childish thoughts. If I need to justify my existence and my achievements on a flag, then that says a lot about me. That I lack self confidence, for I have need to seek out something that I can claim as myself, and thus providing what I would think of as being part of the achievements.

Don't get so angry Life is great!

He who cherishes the values of culture cannot fail to be a pacifist.

Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind.

Nationalism, on my opinion, is nothing more than an idealistic rationalization for militarism and aggression.
