About a year. Just waiting for my sister graduate otherwise everyone in my family is ready to take tge earliest flight back. Time has come to end this journey. Im going to try to file for Canada for sure.

If I was younger, I'd be gone already. At this point I have too much invested in life here. I'll be here until CIR passes or I get caught.

Then we kick ourselves. I suspect some of us would just come right back. Their could be no way of knowing we left. Unless you were caught by border patrol or something.

lol DA User doing what he does best, instilling doubt and false hope into young people! I've been waiting for about a decade and I'm done with saying "just one more year." I'm fortunate that my options aren't limited to developing nations, but even if they were I'd take solace in the fact that even those have respected and (relatively) well-paid jobs. Look out for my blog once I leave the country, I want to share my experiences as a dreamer outside the US, be they good or bad
