I want to donate blood (NYC)

Hey guys....to be serious for just one post (rofl) I wanna ask a few questions about donating blood.

I Live in the NYC region of LOS AMERICAS (lol) [ corny joke?..nvm then]....
...anyway I really want to donate blood, especially since I found out a few months ago I have 0-blood type, which is "like" universal and stuff.

Anyway, I probably don't have to tell you guys that I too don't have an GOV't ID or any type of real proof that I am actually "me" (lol)

Any NYC residents here care to help me out?
If you donated blood before, please tell me how you did it, what organization you used, stuff like that (if you'd be so kind ).

p.s. I'm kinda wary of going to places where they ask for proof of ID...

Does this count under good moral character?

Even a student ID or a passport? I donated blood before but it was during high school when we had a blood drive.

Side Note: They learned the next year they discarded my blood because I was in the states for less than two years and they couldn't risk any form of contamination or whatever. What a waste of my precious blood. haha

I used a college ID, although this was in CA
