Look at portraits of Mexico's heroes, such as Benito Juarez and Emiliano Zapata, and think to myself that they, especially Pancho Villa, would roll over in their graves if I gave up. Being depressed won't really help. If that fails, my parents are always there to tell me a truly wonderful sentence: have some balls. :- )

I feel like my life has been on hold ever since I graduated. If something does happen and I join the Marines, then at least I will be able to say: a year has gone and I've done this, this and this, etc.

Godamn i hate my life
Same here I keep telling myself I would do something to change my life some how. But nope 1day later I'm still in this shit hole, cuz im scared i might get deported and the best part is, I've been staying at home 5days a week for the last 3 years! 3 freaking years? Can you imagine that! That's the American dream for me.

Being from one of the best high schools in the area I gotta say this is probably one of the biggest reasons I have not gone out with some of those friends in a while. I feel so small compared to them and all they have been able to accomplish so far, it's made worse when they try to help me because they don't know of my status. It really sucks, I am forced to say no to some real golden opportunities.

5 days a week, don't you feel like we're in jail? because that's exactly how I feel.

I don't want to sound arrogant and I'm sure most of us have gone through this. When I was in high school I was considered one of the smart guys and a lot of friends had high expectations. So, what if it tell them where I am now? I'm sure they will probably be able to tell but eff it. That's the exact reason why I don't keep in touch with friends at all, I don't think I'll ever create a facebook!

Am I the only one or do other people feel the way I do? because I feel like my embarrassment is very severe.

I sometimes watch that show ''hardtime'' and think of the guys in there as pussies [especially when they get solitary]. Like I could seriously see myself going to jail for life and having all the free stuff w/o being a financial drain on my parents. My choice would be Norway though just from looking at their system

I was always top of my class in middle school and most of high school, so yes you're not alone in that regard. I finally opened a FB account like 5 months ago (mostly to procrastinate and avoid responsibility, but am thinking of just shutting it dow lately)
