You can still travel?

I'm finding that hard to believe, I've been warned not to even take an interstate train.
Avoid Amtrak and greyhound other other interstate buses and trains at all costs border patrol takes their time checking the status of people in those modes of transportation and it does not seem to matter if you are not traveling anywhere near the US-Mexico border.

Flying is probably the safest means to get around the country and between states.

Yes, I agree that flying is the safest way to travel.

my friend got stopped by TSA with the exact same problem. he checked his passport, didnt find any visas, started asking questions, took him to the back office, and next thing you know he was in handcuffs and handed to CBP agents. he got deported in 4 months after going through trials. dont fly unless you really have to!

What if you are in a border city? Can you just travel on school id's or do you need a government issued ID? And please keep us updated once you have made the flight thanks
