Hello everybody.

My name is John, and i live in Dade city, Florida. I am like many of you undocumented, moved to the states when i was 5 years old from Chile. I am now 18 years old. I don't have a DL or SSN, but i do have a ITIN #.

I just graduated high school and I will signing up at my local community college (Pasco Community College or Hillsborough Community College)

My dad is a resident in this country, but i am not i was wondering if that could help me towards getting some type of financial aid over at the school???

Has anyone here attended any of this community colleges to know what they ask for when you go up to sign up??????

Do I sign up as a international student??

PLZ HELP!!!

Hi John

I live in St. Petersburg, FL and I am also chilean. I went to Hillsborough Community College and they will not have a problem with an undocumented student attending there. Only problem would be that you have to pay International Fees.

I doubt that your dad being a resident will be able to help you get any type of financial aid.

I am also trying to see if USF or any other college around here will help me get in, as I doubt that they will all reject me being undocumented.

Good luck!

sorry, you can't get a financial aid.

your community college will ask for your SSN etc but just tell them you're undocumented.

you can't apply as international student but you'll have to pay out-of-state tuition..

good news is your father is a resident which means he can sponsor you in near future when your father becomes citizen if you are under 245i

Actually, if your father petitions you soon, you may be able to be grandfathered under some measure of the INA to prevent ageing out of the process, and once your father becomes a citizen, you'll automatically qualify.

Talk to a lawyer about it. You just might get lucky.

Pls post more info about you so we can help you better, you're under 21, so maybe you can get your green card, but we need more info, like, how did you enter the US, etc.

damm man please help!!! ??? you can be a bit more respectful to everyone else here instead of sidelining the rest, otherwise just go to yahoo answers its not like financial aid is really hard to lookup, it would take you what like 5 minutes if you really wanted to? guess what if you want to go to college it involves having to lookup information
