There is no way that my family or I could afford paying for my college education. I am currently in community college but want to transfer next year.Do any of you know where we can get a loan without a social security number? I know a government loan is out but what about private loans? Any help would be great.

you might wanna dig through private/sponsor loans offered by banks. it would be hard to find. most banks/lenders have stopped offering sponsor loans because of ongoing credit/economic crisis in this country.

There is a way with a USC sponsor but so far the few people I have known to get this loan have applied with a USC close relative, I don't really know whether you can apply with any USC co-signer. There is a thread open where the details of this loan are displayed as well as all the steps followed to acquire the loan

well then, your problem just got a lot easier. you can pay in-state tuition and apply for private sponsored scholarships.
