I will be flying to Florida next month and I need to know if there is any Border Patrol or Homeland Security check points.
I will be flying to Orlando first and drive to Tampa, Sarasota, Fort Myers, Naples, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Pierce and Back to Orlando.
I really have to know, because when I saw "Border Wars" TV show last week, there was a border patrol who caught Latino driver on highway. So, will it be risky?
im going to miami in few weeks. driving.. i heard and i looked online says no checkpoints.. a friend of mine went out there from dallas texas - miami florida and he didnt go thru any checkpoints
Lived in FL for the last 10 years. Haven't encountered any check points..but that doesnt mean they may not have any. I go to Orlando every month. Have been in Miami tons of times. Infact, also got pulled over for speeding in Miami while driving with an INTL license. He let me go with a verbal warning.
