i know it has been a long time, but O'Hare is the airport I fly out most often, last trip was the first time I flew out of Midway and I was more worried about that airport than O'hare for some reason, but it all went fine.

I was just like you guys, before I take my first domestic plane LAX to SEA, I was really scared as shit, I couldn't even sleep a minute!

I went to LAX and my only valid photo documentation was Korean passport that has no visa. TSA guy flip the first page where my photo and name are on it and match it with the ticket. and that was it!

If you are flying within states, you do not have to fear TSA, they even told me "have a nice trip"

There is nothing to fear, and one more thing. NEVER USE FAKE DOCUMENTATION.
Using fake documentation/id is felony, and if they catch you, you will be deported by using fake id.

I've taken domestic planes almost 6 times, had zero problem.

BUT, WATCH OUT FOR BORDER PATROLS.

I'm intrested in an answer for this one...I'm planning on moving to Seattle in October. I've almost made up my mind on flying there except I live in Arizona though, would be risky to board a plane being that this is such an anti-immigrant state? I too have an unexpired passport but its blank (no visa)...

What if my passport has no MRP ZONE? Is it still safe to travel on domestic US? I'm afraid the TSA will later question why I do not have any MRP Passport ZONE.

you guyd are asking the same question over and over. no it is not completely safe to be travelling air with passport with no valid visa. the risk is low, but the risk is still there for you to be questioned by TSA or CBP or whoever happens to be there interested in knowing more about you.

if you had to take it, go take it, but know that there is always risk. thats all.
