But, I would like to re-emphasize that the DREAM Act has not passed and the repercussions of claiming US Citizenship at the current moment are pretty severe. Deportation and lifetime ban essentially, much like marrying for papers, they consider it fraud.

Precisely. Much better to be placed into deportation proceedings for being honest than to escape the law once and get screwed over later.

Never claim to be US Citizen, that's the worst mestake anyone can do, just claim as residents

If you’ve spoken to the CEO, it should be fine. I’m sure he wouldn’t take the risk of recommending this course of action, unless he felt like he could slip you into the system. If they present you with any inconvenient forms, be upfront with him and ask him what you should do.

I agree with nedalford19. Your friend knows your situation, and has pointed you in the direction because they're able to help. If he or she didn't think it was going to work he wouldn't put you in a situation to be disapointed.

He has most likely spoke to the person in charge of taking paper work and express to this person that you're waiting on some documents and to go ahead and treat it as "normal" .

If they do hand you papers try to find a way of holding onto them and ask if they can be turned in tomorrow as you need to verify some information. Then speak to your CEO friend and ask what you should do.

Let us know what happens.

Best of luck!
