Thanks for the responses everyone. I receive a stipend which is privately funded and NYU provides me with 'tuition points' to use. I never filled out the FAFSA or applied directly for a scholarship. So hopefully everything will work out, though I still plan to talk with the lawyer tomorrow before going in.
