i think the way the economy is going , it is next to impossible that congress will pass any form of immigration reform bill in the near future. they are totally focused on getting economy back to normal .

what do you guys think?

agree its a big mess. but if obama wants he can do it...he did make a statement about job issue he will take action upon it with or without republicans. i don't understand why he is holding back on CIR. if he used the same mentality then we could have a yes or no by now. and with upcoming election any negative aspect from republicans would b a minus for the republicans. NOW IS THE TIME TO CHECKMATE. wake up MR. PRESIDENT

CIR and DA is very much on the table. They are on the news everyday.

DA may have a chance in 2013 but CIR is most definitely dead for now.

The president of the United States has to take care of its citizen first before its undocumented residents...so it makes sense to me for him to push for American jobs. We can all say "win the Latino votes" all we want, but when it comes down to it, its still a lesser percentage than all the American votes combined, and that's what he's aiming for. But, if he wins his 2nd term and still didn't do anything for immigration, then he's just a big failure like most here are saying.

Chill people, it can't always be about us. Let's just be thankful we're not being woken up at night hauled up in concentration camps before the burning.

DA should pass this year based on Dems getting all the momentum to win the elections. With Obama's speech yesterday and his jobs bill which will create 1 million jobs right away. GOP's have no choice but to pass the Dream Now soon or else they will be alienating the Latinos.
