If you haven't already, make sure that you've spoken to a good lawyer who can possibly review your case and all your options...but it's comforting to know you have a plan and a shot at decent/safe life. But still think about it long and hard, because there may be no turning back..well at least for the next 10 years. Good luck, and keep your spirits up.

Alright, well, if this is something you really feel strongly about. I say best of luck!

Please come back and keep us updated. It's hard seeing a lot of us leave but it is what it is.

But so far Mexico has been cake, no major complaints, just some nusiances here and there. I can even get all of the NFL games on satellite if I shell out 1600 pesos for the year
Yeah, I looked at having been born in Mexico as a good thing as it's not as bad as many of the other countries out there. I might do the NFL games next year lol.

That doesn't sound too bad. I think everyone here was thinking of the worst of Haiti. Good luck.

Lol then you're all set. Not a lot of people can be that fortunate. Good luck to you and I hope things work out.

Well that's the one thing I really will miss, going to live games from time to time. But I heard they had a game in Mexico City a few years back in the Estadio Azteca. I hope they get more games here.

Look at the bright side, now you can attend world cup qualifiers games.
