Trust me, Rick Perry or anybody else will harm us far more. At least The Pres supports our cause even if he has not shown any action.

Anyone who is undocumented or overstay leave Alabama! Let the state rot in its own dwindling economy and housing market. No one needs that state anyway.

Here's a good summary of what's going on in Alabama.

Just curious, has anyone here worked on a farm? Have your parents done that type of work before?

Yes, but that was like 40 years ago when they are still home.

To be honest guys, this really isn't affecting us too much right now(I live in Alabama). Now I may be speaking too soon, but pretty much all this seemed to do was legalize/justify what is already happening in Alabama. Whether or not they check citizenship now doesn't matter. Before the law, it used to be that 1.) you would get pulled over for the smallest thing, most likely bc of racial discrimination(car or passenger looks Mexican, etc.)2.) Even if they didn't ask you for citizenship or legal status, it would soon lead to that. Obviously, they can now take advantage of us, but we're just gonna have to be more careful about what we do. No more drunk driving, starting stuff at the club, doing hit and runs, reckless driving of any sort, etc. My biggest worries(and they will continue to be until everything is resolved and the temporary block on everything else is lifted) were the harboring of an illegal immigrant and the employment part.
