Where do fellow dreamers bank?

I've always relied on Bank of America with my savings and checkings since their Debit cards allow you to have your photo in them (saves me the trouble in bringing my passport everywhere). But where do you bank?

With the recent headlines concerning debit card fees by your national banks (likes of boa, chase, etc) are causing its customers to move to credit unions, how is it affecting you? Are there any other banks you know of that will not have a fee when it comes in using your own money? (preferably one with a photo on the card.

I am planing to change to a different bank. Online Banks are the ones that dont charge any fees.

I was wondering the exact same thing. I have my money with BoA but I'm planning to switch to a bank that won't charge me that ridiculous fee. Any suggestions?

Fifth Third has been treating me well.

BoA is shady as heck. I don't like them at all.

I'll stay with BoA, I do not think that $5 is ridiculous.

-Banking centers with cute girl clecks

Credit Unions are the best and only banking institutions I will ever work with. Here in Washington State BECU is the best. Every state has them, they don't charge fees and they don't do funny investments with my money.

I agree with you, I'm also staying with BoA. All the banks that allows DREAMERS to join has some kind of fees or minimum balance requirement.

*Wells Fargo- In order to avoid a $5 monthly fee you must have a minimum balance of $1,500 in your checking account daily.

*Chase- In order to avoid a $12 monthly fee you must have a minimum balance of $1,500 in your checking account daily.

All the banks has there hidden fees, the only reason Bank of America is getting so much attention is because they are the largest bank in America.

I once withdrew $7,000 from BOA and one of the $100 bill was counterfeit. I'll never trust BOA again.

How are you guys signing up for checking / savings accounts?

Do you not need a SSN and a government photo ID?
