Hey all- I'm a student in college writing a paper on the DREAM Act. I was wondering, if anyone could share a story or a way in which the passing of this in your state would impact you. Positive or negative-but respectful please. My professor likes stories . Thank you! I know this could be awfully personal.

For instance, I know the Act was just passed in California! How will it affect any of you personally?

As for the passage of Cal. DA, I'm very happy for them, but I also hope it could bring us to a biggest step. We're tried of living in the shadow. I wanna do many things that my friends are doing without the fear of leaving my family and everything. I wanna drive, work and feel what it is mean to live like a real person and not a ghost.
