I kind of felt like it's less intense on this side of the country. Not to mention, there are like four cars on the Amtrak... are they going to ask everyone who's not white?

Hi. i have a friend whos undocumented immigrant here in los angeles and he wants to travel on the amtrak going to sacramento to visit family for thanksgiving. does anyone know if there are any immigration checks from l.a to sac on the amtrak? thank you!

I don't think there's immigration check between LA and Sac.
California is pretty mush immigration friendly state except for border cities like San Diego.
