Happy Thanksgiving to everybody. I know we always have this dark cloud over our head, but we can't let this define who we are as a person and certainly not allow it to define our happiness. Hope everybody on here can enjoy their time with family, friends, (or house plant), and at least for one day forget your troubles.

...And remember, the Pilgrims were the original dreamers

Don't mean any disrespect to my fellow dreamers who are genuinely celebrating thanksgiving. Happy thanksgiving to you. But the only thing I am thankful for is that hopefully this is my last thanksgiving here. I have no attachment to anything any holiday that has to do with this country.

Don't apologize man. I know how you feel. Your view is fair.

Are you in the process of applying for a Canadian visa?

No..Tons of uncertainties looming in the future. My mind changes a lot. If things are like this by around end of next summer, I definitely see myself leaving. If I do leave, the game plan would be to get work experience back home and then apply for Canada. It shouldn't be a problem with a degree, experience, family in Canada, young age etc.
