You are okay with a Valid Passport. I fly from West Palm to NYC all the time and they dont' check any VISAS. As long as your face is on your passport with unexpired dates you are A okay. Do not present your ID from your country. just your passport.

Okay here is my question,

*I have a passport with an expire visa on it
*I have a valid ID from my country.

Here is the tricky part, can I flight with a new passport i am getting in the embassy because I am 18 now, and that passport does not include my expired VISA.

So all I would have will be a

VALID PASSPORT AND AN ID FROM MY COUNTRY.

Please Let me know!

Question...I have a valid MD DL but on top it reads "not acceptable for federal purposes". Same in the back and it states Restrictions: Unot acceptable for federal purposes.
I don't recall having this on my previous DL before it was stolen which forced me to get a new one. Does anyone else have this "problem"? I'm wondering if its just mines or MD DLs in general since they recently started to enforce the Real ID Act. Also, can I board a plan with this DL ID?
Thanks to Anyone that can share some light...

not anymore. but the people that have DLs can renew until 2015...but mines expires then so that sucks. Technically you need a government issued ID to board on national planes and this ID says not for federal purposes...wonder if that makes a difference. I also have my country's passport w/o any visa.

Just Travel with the passport, TSA officials don't care about visa or not, they just need to math your name to the air plane ticket.

So I live in El Paso and will enroll at UT Austin in the fall, I know there's a BP road checkpoint on the way to Austin just outside El Paso. I'm not 18 yet, but will be 18 when I attend. I have a unexpired foreign passport- no Visa, and of course my school ID. So my question is, should I go to Austin on plane or on the road?
