Invest in stocks that you guys like to use on a daily basis. If only I followed that advice when I was in HS and put my money in Apple Inc. instead of buying their products.

Yeah,My mistake was not investing in Google when it was started publicly trading ~2004 at the time.I was also looking at other tech stocks to see if anything was viable at the moment considering the Thai floods might lower stock prices.

If someone is looking more for guaranteed income I'd suggest staying away from stocks and stick to safer options like a long term open CD or High-interest checking or savings[usually online accounts].A tax ID or real SSN w/ some form of ID is usually enough.

PLEASE don't take advice on stocks on forums idream. We are headed into a recession sometime next year. If you wanna speculate or invest go to your library and start reading as many books about finance and the markets as you possibly can. Research on your own and make your investment decisions based on your interpretation of the underlying economic conditions, most people don't kow what the fuck theyre talking about. the markets are set up so you buy when institutional investors-hedge funds are sellin and vice versa. my 2 cents.

stock market is a very risky business, and this just like any other business venture would be better done with funds that you will not be too dependent on if something where to happen.

An idea some of my other dreamer friends are having at the moment is trying to start our own business. We all come from different educational backgrounds, and by ourselves we would probably be very competitive if only we could be legally employed, so we thought of this as a way to use what we are being trained for and having something that could potentially be very profitable, everyone being a co-founder and co-owner of whatever takes place.

There were a few comparable business practices I saw a number of years ago, particularly a bakery somewhere where all the employees where co-owners and their income tied in with the profits, no matter whether they were bakers or dealing with the selling of the products everyone was making above 60k per year, and since everyone was a co-owner they had equal say in business matters, certainly sounded very interesting . cooperatives if I am not mistaken.
