Hey guys I am just wondering if flying in general is safe. I don't have any US Gov ID, but I have my passport which doesn't he the visa on which I entered USA, as I had to get a new passport since. I am not sure if flying is safe, and if there are any chances of someone catching me.

Thanks Guys, and Happy New Year

You should be good with your passport.

I arrive to SeaTac from Sky Harbor last year and had no problems. Even with the passport you should be good.

I have a question as I never flew within the USA, how is the procedure when you land? Is there any ID checking or nothing at all? I know TSA workers check your ID with your ticket and that is it but when you land at the other airport are there any other checks or you simply go to get your luggage and get out of the airport?

Thanks

In SeaTac you just find your luggage and you are on your way.

Yes it is safe, I have been there about 5 times in the past couple of months. You only need your ID when you get your ticket and check your bags (you dont if you use the kiosks and don't check any bags) and at the TSA just to make sure your ticket matches the ticket. Thats it. Once you arrive nobody asks you for your ID

Good luck. And when in Seattle, make sure to visit the the tourist places (EMP, The needle, public market) they are worth it.

Arriving there should be no problem at all. Don't forget to enjoy the beautiful Seattle Skyline as you land too. It is just absolutely breathtaking with all the green and water around it. There is a funny water fountain too that makes a loud gargling sound. It's a great great city, but when you arrive, it may be cold and rainy but trust me, as soon as the sun comes out, it's a different city. Enjoy their public transportation too... $2.75 to ride the train from Sea-tec to downtown.

If you're going to leave Seattle however, they were a bit tougher than I expected - the lady held the ID up to my face to get a better look to see if the picture matched.
