I have a question guys. What if a person has the i-94 for the extended visa ( after extending visa) but not the old passport( with the visa stamp) and the original i-94. Would they be Entry with inspection or without?

Also the said passport would be their parents since they were minor and had no passport of their own ( were included in their parent's old passport).

I think there were other Visa extensions after this but this is the only one at the moment. Are they all the same numbers or after each visa extension the i-94 number is changed?

Well if one has never left the country is this i-94 enough to prove entry with inspection?

So the minor had no passport going into the country? Is that possible? You can't possibly enter this country with just holding a baby and stating "this is my baby let him/her in." That would create........millions of unknown babies, seriously.
My understanding is you hold on to your I94 no matter what. How did you lose the old passport? In my understanding, they give you the old passport back with your new one along with the I94. In fact, I wouldn't even attach my I94 when getting my passport renewed.

In some countries minors need to be of certain age to get their own passport. Until then they are under their parent's passport.

As for my question any one knows? Is i-94 enough or do one need the old passport as well?

I think I94 is enough. That is proof and should have a stamp, unless your name is nowhere on it.

I have never heard of anyone mentioning a USCIS adjudicator requiring to see any old visa and have always requested to see the I-94 at the time of adjustment.

I'm in the same boat -- my visa & I-94 are in my parents' passport.
