I was just reading some stories of DREAMERS and realized that all the stories I've heard are of hard working law abiding undocumented people like us. After reading I wondered if there are any dreamers that are not law abiding.

What I mean is that there has to be some out there that are not honor students or have a good character. Or what is it about us that we are dealt these bad cards in life yet we strive to not only survive but to get ahead and make something of ourselves despite the challenges we are faced. Take a look at all the stories in the news about dreamers on top of their class, award winning writers, medical and law students, activists etc.

Were we blessed with such strong genes and talents that God realized he had to give us a hardship in life only we could overcome?

I think so.

So when we go through the frustration each day of missed opportunities, life restraints, unfair treatment, and despair; think this:

Smooth seas do not make skillful sailors. ~African Proverb

Therefore when we come out of this situation not only will we be better sailors than our non dreamer peers, colleagues or fellow man but we'll be better. We will not complain about the inconveniences of life since we will have gone through one of the biggest inconveniences in our lives.

There are a lot of really bad dreamers. There are those that think they are better that the guy asking for a job in home depot. There is those that the moment they fix their papers turn into illegal haters and tell people they came here legally not like the rest. There are those that only want to fix their situation to get an easy job so they can be useless government rats selling their own people. There is a bunch of dreamers who cry and cry about their situation and blame the world for their problems without taking a look at how lucky they are. Do you want more I have a long list of bad dreamers.

Technically the people you come across with on this website are just few individuals from the DA population. Most of us are college educated and are well-informed of the system and our situation, whereas others are less fortunate and doesn't even know that DA exist. Particularly in our group I think it is rare to have our skills and accomplishments since we don't normally have the resources most people take for granted. It is ironic when I say that we are a little more fortunate than others like us. Which is the reason why we should inform people about our situation, and most of us have done that in the past and continue to do so to this day.

Being driven into a situation in which you might be forced to make some morally questionable choices does not make you a bad person in my opinion. Just as long as your actions don't bring harm to anyone else.

Yup, we are very few, probably 5-10%.

The USA doesn't owe you anything, you should be thankful for them at least not deporting all the students.
