So what's the age limit on this. Cuz I think you need to be under 25 to join the military or I'm wrong?

I think ARMY is 35.

The maximum age of non-prior service enlistment, under federal law used to be age 35. In 2006 the Army tried to convinced Congress to change this to age 44. Congress thought age 44 was too high, but raised the maximum enlistment age, under law, from 35 to age 42.

I guess its 42 now...

Also does the army reserve counts? I would sign up right now if it does.

i dunno...i couldn't personally vouch for this bill. I say let it gain momentum and then amend it to resemble DREAM.

i think that if it is ammended in that way, the republicans wont allow it and it will fail. The only chance is to keep the bill as it is current

Ney sir i am simply pointing out that ever since news of this "arms act" was released certain members around here started shoving uncle sams cock in between their buttocks. I am not or do not claim to be a "militarist" but I would join if given the opportunity for nothing more than to adjust my status, though I wish a different path were put in place for those who would prefer to go to college, it seems at this point that this thing actually has a chance of passing, unlike previous versions of the so called dream act. To conclude, Fuck the military and fuck you too. I'd only be joining for my own selfish interests : )

If Adam's response means anything, it shows that none of the pro-immigrant organizations are going to be willing to take this as is, if at all. I'm worried they won't even try to amend this to resemble a lighter version of DREAM out of their own self-interest.
