I agree, the ARMS act is really some bull shit. If you are willing to give your life for the country you should at least get citizenship right away and not their conditional residency. I mean, you will not be a citizen until after what? 10 years, maybe more. What you are willing to give does not match what they are willing to give.

But I am past that, I think people who want to join the military and follow the path of long years of waiting should be given the chance to do it.

Some of us have things that are more important than being legal. I would rather get a good education and go back to my country or somewhere else than to join the military.

We just have different priorities that is all, no need to fight.

True! The Dream Act should have passed years ago, especially in 2010; it is very unfortunate that there aren't enough reasonable lawmakers in Congress that are willing to pass the Dream Act.

CIR is understandably a tougher issue to resolve, but the Dream Act??!! Really? It is nothing short of mean-spiritedness that this Bill hasn't passed yet, no doubt.

This Bill has been used as political football for about a decade now, and we keep being punished more and more each and every day with no hope/end in sight and more people keep being unfairly written out of the Bill or are forced to make only one choice or be left with nothing as the ARMS act does, it is simply UNFAIR and not what America is supposed to be about....

Most of yall spend your hours feeling sorry for yourselves, im not and its pretty stupid to call us selfish when you're there OPPOSING people who have the fucking guts to join unlike your sorry ass.
What makes you think you're more of a man just because you are willing to join the military while others don't ? You are the one that needs to stop whining.... "oh don't call me selfish, stop opposing the ARMs act blablalba ". If you really have the balls and 'revolutionary mind' you claim to have, why don't you go back to your country and start a fkn revolution to improve things over there? Your conceited attitude don't impress me so stop trying to fool yourself, you're no Che Guevara, wake up and smell the coffe son 'cause last time i checked you're just one more undocumented student like the rest of us, xcept you're laced with foolish arrogance and superb stupidity.

I do not support the ARMS Act

1. It gives people who did not ever plan on going to the military to feel forced to join. The military should always be a voluntary commitment.

2. If passed, Republicans will shit on the rest of the Dreamers who didn't qualify

3. Dreamers with health problems (and no, this does not mean being too fat) will not be able to join the army. Therefore, they will not benefit from this no matter how qualified they are in terms of education
http://usmilitary.about.com/od/joini...dstandards.htm

4. The AA is a slap in the face to any Dreamer who serves valiantly and doesn't receive permanent residency. We deserve better than conditional status for five years.

Yeah I'm one more undocumented just like you and the rest, but do i sit here and sit sorry for myself? No

I got a job, and i go to school full time, I rather live my life and fight for whats right than sit here and expect a fucking handout im NEVER going to receive so if I think i'm better than you is because i have the will to do as I please. Everyday here is just constant bitching about your daily lives and shit even DATING is a problem. Fuck that, you have to believe in yourself and if you dont want to join the ARMS so be it, but don't ruin it for the rest of us who are willing TO DO SOMETHING for our lives. Deal with it.
