start up an engineering consulting firm and hire all of us engineering dreamers as contractors

We should work on this. I think once I get a little more experience I will attempt this. Over the summer I plan to go around companies offering my services. I still need to learn more about bussiness though.

Yep, and that means like 5 years of experience, depending what state you are in. Some places you cannot even get a license if you are illegal. I think in some states you can. Anyways, if I cannot get a license the best thing would be to leave once I am all done with school.

still getting adjusted; figuring out how to take the FE (texas changed their procedure around last year) so i never really got around to it.

2 hw's due this week and a midterm...I should be more stressed....
