Hey guys,
I'm a high school senior and got accepted to so and so for a six year degree. My families green card app got denied last February and we sent in 2 motions to reopen. The second one is still pending, it will most likely get denied and let's just say it gets denied in June. If that happens we will most likely go to court and want to get our green cards through the extreme hardship thing because of my little sister who is a US citizen. This takes atleast 2 years from what I have seen and if that get's denied then we will probably be put into the removal proceedings again and this time we will try and get prosecution discretion and if it gets denied we will appeal and appeal and it might get approved. This will hopefully buy us 3 more years so that I only have one more year of college and then I can graduate. I am 245i so then I could get married while I'm in college maybe or if I graduate I can get a job. A lot of things could go wrong. What do you think. Should I switch my major that takes 6 years to a 4 year major? I'm kind of stressing out right now because these are big decisions in my life. I don't want to go to school for 5 years and get deported and waster 125k of my parents money, you know? Please tell me what you would do in my situation.
If you go to school for 5 years and get deported you still got your degree so there is one advantage to that. With a american degree you will have an edge finding a job in mexico. Or if you want to go to nz or canada you will have a better chance and priority.
Ps: soccer sucks. Just personal opion there....
