Who refused to take your college id? Legally they can't refuse to take your college id if it has a photograph and if it's not expired.
It also says you have to submit something form List C along with your List B document, so if you can't do that then they could not accept just the college id.

ohh my gosh.... this is so lame. So they did take my school ID but they still need a ss card. I just lied and said I lost it but they told me to go and get a paper from the ss office that says the ssn belongs to me. obviously I can't do that. she said she would take a faxed copy of it if I have one. She wants me to start tomorrow so I need to figure something out ASAP!!!

You guys are fkin lucky that you at least have some stuff, so techincally you are NOT undocumented. But i guess, false documents dont really help with much things. But still, you can still work.......

In the worst case, if you can't provide the SS card and they refuse to employ you because of that, right before giving up on this, ask them if they would consider hiring you as an independent contractor. As an independent contractor, all they need from you is your tax payer id. Many employers don't like to hire contractors but some do!

This whole situation just sucks! I'll see what I can do, if not I'm just gonna keep applying at different places till I get a JOB... by the way, thank you all for your responses, I'm a little new to figuring out how to find work being in this situation we are all in.

Closing thread since it's become a discussion on how to commit fraud.
