Oh, and to top it off, he had the audacity to tell people that he could work on CIR once the 'elections' -2010- were over. And here we are, two years on, we are told to wait until after the 2012 election.

Rep. Gutierrez disclosed a few months ago, that the Hispanic Congressional Caucus had agreed that CIR won't happen until the next congressional election cycle in 2014. He said it wouldn't be until 2015. Rahm Emmanuel told everyone back in 2009 that they wouldn't start working towards it until 2013. Maybe we shoud listen to anyone else other than the President, because as of now, all others are telling the truth.

Other issues like the Economy.

Under his Administration, hardcore criminals were deported. There was a Morton memo last year that helped.

His problem is he wants to please everybody. Honestly, I think he still has a grudge from the 2008 democratic primary.

He better get some sh*t done if/when he's elected. I know he said this when getting elected for the 1st term, but now he's got no choice on his last term. But what matters more than him is that fact that the Dems should be able to take back the house and senate. Without that, Obama's powerless and can't be blamed.

Obama doesn't want to work on immigration reform. When asked about immigration reform, he told reporters that he's been "working Congress hard." Go google that quote and you'll find the article.

As for Dream, he'll sign it but he won't push it. The man has NO PROBLEMS about supporting immigration reform but when it comes to pushing and shoving Congress to pass any kind of legalization bill, dream on.

I have no interest in listening to what Obama has to say about both the Dream Act, and Immigration Reform in general, he's all talk but no action when it comes to these issues.

I really feel gullible for pushing the members of my family in 2008 that are US Citizens to vote for him (which they did), because I really believed that he understood the immigration process and the problems that people encounter, and would do something about it to help those involved. Was I wrong! Four years later, and things are still the same.

This year, I do not care who my friends and family vote for if they even bother voting at all, it really doesn't matter to me anymore. I'm done supporting any politician, we seriously need some sort of luck/Divine intervention (whatever you call it), to help us, that's what I think because people have played and failed us.

I was like you too. I actually joined the College Democrats and took part in volunteering for the campaigns to get people to vote in the Dems and Obama because I really believed he'd do something about immigration. I was wrong and felt stupid. Now I've abandoned America and went back to my country. Things are working out alright now that I'm living abroad. More opportunities to live in other countries.

I'm happy and encouraged to hear that there are opportunities after leaving the US. I certainly will be relocating to my home country no later than a couple of years from now when I can hopefully afford to do so. As long as I do not have any status, I will not lift a finger to get Obama any votes that's for sure, instead of focussing on his political career, I need to focus on my future.
