Just wanted to bump this up since I got a new update, my school just sent me an email stating that they received my dream act application. Here's the email:

We have received your 2012-2013 California Dream Application! Your application will be used to determine if you are eligible for California State University funded grants beginning in the Spring 2013 semester. In order for the Office of Student Financial Aid to begin a review of your eligibility you must be an admitted student to SF State and have an approved AB540 exemption on file with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

In May 2012 we will begin processing students’ California Dream Applications to determine financial aid eligibility. For now, please be sure that you signed your application, and if you are under the age of 24 (still considered a dependent student), your parent must also sign the application. Otherwise we will not be able to process your application. Furthermore, you may be selected for the verification process in which you will be required to submit additional documentation which would verify family income. Please be sure to check your SFSU email as we send all University communications via email. Make sure you respond promptly to any requests for additional documentation. Any information received from the student and/or family is confidential and will only be used to establish grant eligibility.

Students who are eligible for CSU grants will receive an award notification via email in July 2012. For information on the Dream application and financial aid requirements please visit www.caldreamact.org.

We look forward to helping you achieve your academic endeavors in the 2012-2013 academic year!

Is it different per school? I haven't got any replies from the CC I'm at and the UC that I'm planning to transfer to in the Spring.

It shouldn't be that different, but I do know SFSU is friendly with AB540 students since the financial aid office holds workshops a lot to help Dreamers.

Email your UC's fafsa department. This is what they told me to do this morning.

"Good morning,

If you have completed the Dream Act application, then what you will want to do is print out your last page (the confirmation page) and send it to us.* You can attach it to an email and send it to us that way.* Please just make sure that your student ID number is on there.

Upon receiving that, our office will go ahead and route a referral to our officer to follow up on your application."

I'm emailed them what they needed and now I'm just waiting for someone else in the department to contact me.

They extended the deadline to May 18th now if anybody missed the May 10th deadline.

@sephlan
I'm not really sure what to say, my mom was not suppose to work also, but she pays her taxes, so I just included that.
