Hi guys!

I was wondering how many of you guys have successfully created a small business. I am trying to start my own health coaching business (since I am a nurse) and have been running into lot of obstacles. I realized how hard it is to create a profitable business and I am running through different ideas on how I can make money.

Have you tried this before and if so, what kind of business? Any tips or recommendations?

I think starting a business is our best shot after graduating from college! Let's get some dreamer entrepreneurs together and create some business!

Ive been thinking about creating my own t-shirt/clothing line... But starting a legitimate business requires alot of documentations (for us legal documentations means obstacles/road blocks) Such as, applying for a business license, taxes, and capital. Which i can't get due to my situation.

I've been doing my clothing business about two years now. My annual gross is about $140k and profit margin is about 40% ~45%

I can't tell you what I do specifically but what I do is requires you to know variety of clothing styles, brands, etc.
It's a online business, so I don't need SSN. I just have ITIN to file taxes.

My advice is: Be creative.

Hi Imagine,

That is IMPRESSIVE! Congrats Great to hear about other dreamer entrepreneurs out there!

I believe offline businesses can just use ITIN as well, right? Not just online businesses. I have heard that you can use ITIN for regular offline businesses too.

I am guessing her own platform... prob better that way.

Etsy.com is a great place to sell clothes or homemade stuff as well. But it's becoming fairly easy to create your own site and wordpress plugin and sell your stuff. You just have to have something of value, something good! (hard part)

imagine have you ever had problems with paypal? i've heard alot of complaints about them freezing fishy accounts, about how often do you transfer money out and do you ever leave a float or transfer all out? also, how do you report as individual or co? do you have to do the employer thing or only fill out that w7 or whatever it is for us, im surprised with that much money in the bank you havent found someone to hook up with and fix ur status the usual way, also for those of you with a ss and bank, you can take cc with that iphone square app and its almost as easy as paypal as long as ur reporting ur taxes at the end
