See that is what sucks when I post long thought out responses. People will skim them. If you go back and see what I said I have never opposed Rubio's bill. I just want the DREAM act more because it has a path to citizenship.

The Rubio DA seems to be making progress, but it's going to come back to the House GOP in my mind, they will make or break this resolution. I think that is the consensus.
Hey there bud. Watch out for the Great Whites haha I bet you feel like you're on vacation.

It does feel like a vacation. Sydney makes most American cities look like crumbling artifices from the 20th century. And plus most people just seem really overtly nice and laid back. This feels like a dream. Plus the fam's taking me to the city centre in thirty mins to shop for clothes and items for school.

But back to the Rubio DA, is there a consensus emerging that it is the house GOP that needs to be worked on? The senate is looking more like a lock day by day, and if I was leading the charge I'd just work on the house republicans.

Nothing against you. Shit just rocks my world . . . All of us are going throught so much shit . . . it's unexplainable. I feel anger, disgust, . .

Well for the most part, Democrats wouldn't take any watered down DA. Before the Democrats were focus on something bigger than the DA. Remember when the CIR was booming? We had May day marches and all that media coverage. We all thought that something will be done that year but it didnt pass Congress. We had atleast 2 or 3 years of good momentum. But ever since Obama was elected, the bill died down. Since CIR wasnt getting anymore attention. Dream act was put to the table. Since CIR was too much for everyone they settled for something less, the Dream Act. In the same motion as CIR, Dream Act kept on being introduced only to fail congress. Now Rubio's version is getting that attention. We have yet to see what's really on that bill since he's still working on it. But we all know that its a narrowed down version of the DA and we're all saying "fuck it, give it to me. Just pass anything that would somehow give me a lil bit of freedom" and i think the Republicans knows this.

i dont know, i dont have a viable resource to prove my opinion. But when it comes to politics, i know that it's all games. Who gets the most votes. They don;t really give a shit about us. Im hopeful that something will be done this year, but then again i think this is just one of their political game. And you asked why this bill being introduced now?? well its election year.

my point is that over the years we've settled down for something less than what we thought we deserve. Our situation became unbearable to the point that we'll give in to anything. Before we were fighting this because we believe that we're AMERICANS. Unfortunately, these people doesn't see us that way. That's the harsh reality that we have to live with.

oh btw, no offense taken. we're all in this together bro. i feel your pain. Just be strong dude. You'll be alright.

Thanks. I'm not easily offended so don't worry. But it surely sucks to be misunderstood.

-So it feels like some dreamers are opposed to the GOP Dream Act 2.0 and all in all that's really sad. I read on Mandeep Chahal blog that she who is considered a more visible Dreamer is totally opposed to the GOP Dream. Maybe i read it wrong but all in all those Dreamers who dont agree with the GOP version stop dragging the rest of us down. Let this bill pass, if that happens swear to never ever under any circumstances take advantage of second class citizenship, keep holding your breath for C.I.R. Last time i tried i was able to hold my breath for a lil over 3 minutes so good luck, i imagine C.I.R. is about 50 years out for those of you who like exact numbers more like 26,208,000 minutes. But hey If someone could win the lotto twice or even once those of you who want the original Dream might also be able to hold ur breath for 26,208,000 minutes.

-And yes what could an average human achieve in 26,208,000 minutes of second class citizenship: marriage to a citizen, join the military, finish school, get a job and support people they care about, get a job that sponsors you, start a fortune 500, have children, have grand children, have great grandchildren, have your family sponsor you, start lobbying for change with money instead of the redial button on your fax machine, travel the world, travel the world and realize that places like Australia might be a better fit so maybe you move there, get a traffic ticket without the adjoining heart attack, actually stand up for your self when someone talks down to you because your not afraid of retaliation through deportation, become a doctor, a lawyer, a teacher, a fucking porn star, buy a home, buy a car, buy health insurance so you can actually see a doctor instead of using WebMD, go to graduate school, become active in your community and the globe, alter the voting block in America to represent real issues and not political bullshit, start your own damn lobbying group, get a D.I.P. with a slap on the wrist instead of a pink jump suit, my favorite talk shit to Joe Arpaio, Shawn Hannity, Sara Palin, Bill Oreily and the like without them actually being able to do anything about it.

-Or you could spend the next 26,208,000 minutes visiting http://www.dreamact.info and updating articles even thou you probably have arthritis in your hands from ranting and raving about your feelings for the last 50 years and how hind sight is a BITCH, need two hip replacements, have no teeth left, wear adult diapers, and cant exactly remember what the Dream Act is all about anyway. Not to mention you've probably been deported at this point cause everyone's luck runs out sooner or later.

This is our ethos, this is our manifesto. Trust me guys, believe the words above that were typed. Sure the bill doesn't give what we want fully, but it has a better chance of passing then anything so far. The American political system is riddled with structural flaws that prevent often the moral and right thing from being completed (Unless it's neocon interventions in foreign countries for "humanitarian reasons"). It's near 11 pm here in Australia and I just had the best day in my life. Freedom is a drug, and it is a drug that everyone should be allowed to consume. Better to live in freedom again then in uncertainty, that is what Aussie has taught me.
