Good question. Looks like DA doesn't pass within next 2 yrs, will seriously have to consider marriage to resolve. Unfortunately I really don't want to leave this country. I love everything about it and really feel like an American.

Until they kick me out at this point.

The funny thing is I would have gladly left a while ago if they only got rid of the ban for dreamers but at this point I laid down some roots. I own a house, cars, and have a well paying job. Plenty contacts within the industry I work in. Being an older dreamer I would not want to start again from scratch. Besides, if I tried to move back I think the EU would try to tax me on the money I would be bringing with me to the EU even though I already paid tax on it to the US. Not a big fan of double taxation.

Canada would be the closest option for someone who was raised in USA. You could just drive and return in 10 years too. Australia and UK? But it looks like DA will pass before the fall semesters this year.

The ban only applies if you leave the country and if you fall under 245i then you don't have to leave the country to adjust. Wow, cars? How many you got lol

Why would EU tax you for US$?

Yeah, I'm not sure how a US earned income would be treated by the EU for a person with no legal US status. I know that the country I would be going back to (Poland) taxes foreign income if one resides in Poland for more than 180-days for the year. So as long as I move back with less than 180 days left in the calendar year I should be safe.

Now I’m not talking about a huge amount of money but enough to go house shopping with. I’m not about to just hand of my hard earned money to some European bureaucrat.

Anyways, I do not want to go back if I don’t have to so Rubio needs to hurry the f**k up and get this bill through…
