I shall await the outcome and hope that they are not just playing around with all our lives

I was hoping to see an actual date set. Hopefully it is still June-ish.

Guys, realistically what are the chances of this bill passing? How do you guys honestly feel about it? Does it have a good chances of passing? Maybe %20-30?

For the bill to have a huge strong chance of passing, there are first a few factors we need to watch. Some of which I will go over right now.

1. A lower age limit increases the chance the bill will pass due to the fact more republican congressmen would be inclined to support it as this has always been one of their hugest pet peeves regarding previous dream acts.
2. A cut-off date also further away from the five year status of previous dream acts would also do well to boost support among republican congressmen.
3. Making the visa non-renewable would also do well to boost support support from certain republican sectors.
4. IF even house republicans are loving this come June, then I think this will have a STRONG chance of passing.

Basically, the more limited Rubio makes this bill, the better the chances. The broader(and therefore the more dreamers it can help) the less chances it has. Which is why my view is that come june certain segments of dreamers will be cursing for this bill to fail while others praise it.

At the end of the day none of us can know how this ends up, but just hope for the best bro. Who knows how this turns out, I wrote on your other post by the way. Who knows maybe you fit in and others don't, or maybe rubio shocks us all and fits everyone in. Until the bill comes in June my friend, I wouldn't lose sleep over it. And let's say you don't fit in man, I am confident you and almost all dreamers can make it anywhere in the world.

99% chance of passing. I am feeling better then ever since following the bill from 2001.

Lower age has never been talked about so how does that make it easier to pass? Let's say they made the age to 30 or 25 then would they add Retroactive to be fair? What pet peeve? Tell me when the maximum age was an issue. It was only cut off in the lame duck session when the bills were rushed.

How about being here 10 straight years instead of 5? Afterall original Dreamers have been waiting since 2001. If it is non-renewable then how long will it be? 5 years? 10 years?
