If reports are to be believed, and that the Rubio plan will look just like the lastest (fall 2010) Dream Act, without the special citizenship pathway, then we ALL need to accept it.

We're in 'limbo' now! Don't believe, or accept Democrats (and others on the Left) who try to 'defend' us with that 'limbo', 'second-class citizen' trash.

We need it.

And we need to be able to show the Democrats that we're not in their pockets, and they don't have our interests in mind IF they reject a compromise bill like Mr. Rubio's. .... Because if we don't speak up, they WILL play us.

This is common sense. Nothing to argue about here.

No it won't. No direct path to USC. It would be a non-immigrant Visa. Work, school, drive and travel. It is a awesome bill which will be easy to compromise.

I think the way to pass the DREAM ACT and put pressure on Obama is to get organize and do the following:

TV networks such as Univision and Telemundo should be challenge in the following ways:
1. Make a donation campaign with these networks. One way to go about doing this is as follows:
Now the Univision network is presenting popular reality shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina, if a DREAM Act leader would to get in contact with the network and suggest that for every vote they received from viewers, a certain percentage could be donated for the DREAM ACT campaign, it will be a win-win situation for both: the network ratings would go up because more people will be watching, and every time one votes the network makes a percentage via the cellular carriers paying the network a percentage per every vote.

These network always come as they are in support of the DREAM ACT, now it is time to make them put "the their money where their mouth is."

With the money, the campaign should use it towards defining the DREAM Act on billboards, t-shirts... Another thing that I suggest that maybe Obama has control is to push to get rid of the 3/10 year ban... why can a person who intentionally overstayed his/her visa gets to adjust his/her status without having to leave the country, but someone like us who were brought against our will gets punished and is banned from coming back? I would suggest for all DREAMERS to organize, go to Obama's rallies, challenge him by asking questions like:

How come you promised to pass the DREAM ACT in 2008, but didn't bothered to convinced five Democrats to vote for it?

I have read about so many of you and I am so impressed with the level of education and hard-work, it is time to really organize. You need someone with an aggressive spirit and drive to really represent you. I noticed that some DREAMS in 2010 were interviewed and didn't challenged their opponents when they were given the chance to speak about the benefits/need for the passage of the DREAM ACt.

These are some ideas, and I so much wish that things could change for all of us. There needs to be bigger ideas and events other than being in touch with the politicians, it is time to challenge their promises...
