Seriously bro, get a real life. Its bad enough that some or all of the Dreamers in this newsroom are frustrated about their situation, but don't add to their frustration by writing negative comments. They don't need that shit, or YOUR SHIT. Just ignore my comments and don't respond to them, plain and simple. I swear to God, even a crash test dummy who has no brain wouldn't write the dumb shit that you write.
Relax mami. I warned you about these kind of folks in this forum. Extreme optimism is viewed as some sort of trolling around here. Some of us have been as positive and hopeful as you are in your post at a certain time in our lives but then a vote comes for the DA (2010) and gets slammed to the ground thus crushing our hearts

Not saying is bad to be very positive but some of us have been so harmed by these politricks that we're scared to have some real faith/hope and get that awful feeling again if the bill gets shot down. It's a feeling that you just don't want to experience again. Million things go through your head. Even more when the bill gets killed the day of your birthday and a week from christmas.

Now as for "Kingsam" bro, just don't reply to her posts. I suggest both of you block each other thus not be able to see each other posts. But in a respectable way stop trying to kill people's faith man. If some people don't care hurting themselves in case the bill dies then thats on them. Express your own opinion and let people do it as well without contradicting their words.

I hear what you're saying and it hurt me just as much as it hurt the Dreamers that the DA didn't pass in 2010, but you know what, I didn't lose faith or hope; it just made me work and fight harder the rights of the Dreamers. I even tell prisoners in jail about the movement. I'm working hard like everybody. But at the same time, just because the DA didn't pass, its not the end of the world. Maybe it wasn't the right time. Regardless of what happens with the DA this year, NEVER, EVER, EVER LOSE HOPE.......IN ANYTHING. I'm just here to inspire people to have hope. To the Dreamers who read my last post to "Kingsam73", I STRONGLY APOLOGIZE FOR WRITING THOSE DEROGATORY WORDS. I guess I'm just too passionate or too "optimistic" as Kingsam73 puts it. I hope you guys weren't offended, but I meant that shit to you Kingsam73.

The article says that Rubio's proposal would provide non-immigrant visas to illegal immigrants' children who attend college or serve in the military.
I haven't started college yet but will be hopefully in a few months would that count?
Does this mean that if its approved next month I wouldn't benefit from it?
Confused+Sad!

Yes it would count. There are Dreamers who are currently in HS. You will benefit regardless of when it is approved.

Awesome, Now I Feel More Confident!
One more question though- I already graduated from HS in 2009,
would I still benefit?
Thanks In Advance DA User!

Dream Act 2012!
No one can tell you if you qualify since we don't have a bill with the actual details, yet. Don't believe anyone that tells you that you qualify BEFORE the actual bill is released. Rubio has discussed other factors that may exclude many DREAMers that would have benefited from the original DREAM Act. We have to wait on the actual bill to see what the requirements are.

That is good so if the bill says go to college and/or military then that is what you would have to do.

He won't be disqualified based on what he is asking though.
