I'm in the process of moving DAP to a different server and modernizing our stack. You might experience problems during this time and might not receive email notifications.

However, the site should perform better after the changes.

Currently we are using Apache + PHP + bytecode cache and a local email server on CentOS running CPanel with $50 ServInt server. This stack is just too complex to manage and is not performing that well, clearly.

The plan is to switch to Nginx + fastcgi + memcache + (varnish?) + Google Apps for email on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, no CPanel, with $40 Linode server.

I've been configuring and securing the Ubuntu box in the past couple of days. I use Ubuntu LTS for my other projects, so this should streamline server administration quite a bit. The new LTS version has support for the next 5 years, so thats a plus as well.

The forum is vBulletin. =) It's just customized to look like the rest of the site.
