If it is a student visa, FUCK it.
If it is a non-immigrant visa that we can work, drive, study. HELL yes.

I remember that he mentioned that if his bill passes, employer sponsorship would allow us to get green card. It would be impossible if he's talking about student visa.

if i recall correctly, AB540 just requires you to attend 3 years and graduate from a California high school. It technically does not have anything to do with your immigration status. For example if a US citizen from New York moved to California after his/her freshman year, and graduated from a CA high school, this person would be able to receive in-state tuition to a Cal State or UC school through AB540.

It is not a student visa. It is a non immigrant visa. Student visa's are in this category type. Rubios bill would create a new "type" of immigrant visa, with many different components and privileges to it.
