Also yall are wrong about the associates degree. The most important thing on a resume is experience. A college degree is just an advantage over someone without. And/or shows that you will be able to do advance mathematics, advanced research and reports, and whatever expertise you may have from your major. So it is perfectly fine that someone just gets associates degree. It just proves that they were willing to pursue higher education.

In fact if you think we should prove how valuable we are why don't we make it a requirement for all of us to get doctorate degrees? Not everyone has the same dream you know. Also I know plenty of Americans that don't even do a year in college. Because they want to be musicians, investors, or some sort of entrepreneur. I personally think everyone should go to college, but the reality is people are still dropping out of high school.

Also it passed the senate and we only needed 5 votes in the house. Even though 5 democrats were against it I'm sure it was because of the pressure from their constituents. There was a lot of negative media on national TV about the DREAM act.

ALL military contracts are 8 years. You mentioned 4 years (2 active/2 reserve), well then the rest of the 4 would be in Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) status, meaning they can still call you up if they really need you (a bit different from reserves).

I used to think that every dreamers should just get a BA degree, but I'm almost done with my community college and I don't think I'm able to afford a 4 year university. If the requirement is changed to a BA degree for Dream Act, I think the bill should provide a reasonable period of time limit.
Isn't CA and TX in-tuition?
