Congratulations. You have no idea how inspiring you are. I just started college and it's news like this keeps me going. I am happy for you. I do recommend looking at job overseas, not necessarily in your home country. I apologize if it sounds naive but I think having a Masters helps matters.

I wouldn't call it stubborn. I understand you have your roots here. Perhaps, you have people here that you deeply care about. And, turning your back on what you have known all your life is not an option. That's part of the reason I am so "stubborn." But, I hope you are not feeling down or anything because you can practically immigrate anywhere with your degrees. Kudos.

Everybody's situation is different. For someone who doesn't really have any roots here and is young enough, leaving the country is certainly a valid option. I've also seen my share of college students getting "married" and what not and for them if things blow up in their face, worst case, they go back to some European or Latin country where life isn't that much different.

For me though I have to see where this journey is going to take me.

congrats on your masters degree! i know someone who runs a small consulting business just using his itin. his education (he has two masters) helped him greatly to earn a decent living. he too faces many barriers due to his status but he's been able to make it work meanwhile waiting for the dream act to pass.
