Exactly. You have to be worried about people that will actually try to harm you and the police.

I'm going to take the chance and apply to go to Canada if we haven't seen some sort of reform in the next 2 years. Hopefully, I can manage to save enough, pay off school, etc. It seems rather daunting, but I've got to try.

^If you've been here as long as you say then you probably remember that show "Oliver at Large".

On topic,I've never heard of an 'accent' being an issue in one's home country, but I agree concerning the issue of females going back specifically to Jamaica as there does seem to be widespread issues I had never knew or heard about until talking with friends who recently visited.

All I can tell you is that Guadalajara is just behind Mexico City and Monterrey. Best place for tech jobs and tech startups in mexico.

The funny thing is these people think they know everything about Mexico by talking to their parents, and most of their parents haven't been in the country for over a decade. Yet we are living here now.

Tell me about it, a lot of ignorant people out there. Probably don't even know that companies like GE, Bombardier, and Schniedier Electric just to name a few, have a huge manufacturing and engineering presence down there...

It'd actually be a decent time to go to Europe at the tail end of this debt crisis, and invest on the bottom. Thinking about going back to Portugal -- or another EU country that isn't struggling.

One thing that does suck thought...I've been hearing that Taco Bell made this new Dorito Taco and it sold 2 million in the first month, it has been on the news here. I can't get it because we don't have a Taco Bell here, just the real stuff. Has anyone tried it?
