Hopefully something happens in the future where you guys can get permanent residency. I will continue my journey to bring Mexico out of the darkness, because I am, of course, the chose one. Let's see what happens in the next few years.

No offense, but this congratulation sounds bitter. It's still too early to talk about certainty. If things like this happens, pretty sure those are over 30+ will be taken care of.

Yeah, to be honest, I kind of feel like Obama pretty much cut off those over 30 for this to happen. I think CIR is the only they can hope for to be honest. This is not me trying to be an ass, it's how I really think the situation is right now.

I don't really blame anyone that is not included in this for feeling sort of let down...I think we would all be like WHAT THE HELL, MAN.. if it was our case...
But I am glad it will help many dreamers anyway.
My lawyer just advised me not to file for this, as it's a bit of a waste of time considering I am marrying a USC soon.

So congrats to everyone that is going to benefit from this, go out and celebrate but be safe!
and to the ones who are not able to benefit, I wish you the best of luck with whatever you chose to do. Don't worry, you will excel anyway...you are young, you can do whatever you want. Don't let the lack of a paper keep you from being happy....and taking over the world >

I don't really feel bad to be honest. I left knowing this could happen, but it has to with my pride. For example, I would never want to get a green card through marriage. Besides, my goal has always been to go to canada or europe, so there is nothing I regret about leaving as of yet. If for some reason, my goals of moving to canada or europe are not fulfilled, that's when I will feel like I made the wrong choice leaving the USA.
