We can pretty much be sure anyone who applies for this the first time will still have their legal status for those 2 years, but what about after that?

It's not a "legal status" and I think he can take away our work permits after 2 years. Worst than that, he might deport us all since he'll have our information.

really? are you going to sit there and shit on the parade with that negativity? no one has even applied yet and youre already thinking of its doom in 2-4 years IF a guy who has no chance of winning wins. Come on guy, go drink a beer and relax will ya? and that goes for everyone else stressing out about Romney winning. enjoy the moment stop living in a negative phantomed in your head future.

A teacher of mine sent me that as one of her thoughts. It looks like it should be a time for people to adjust to a full time green card.

I agree with eddy . We should think about what is going to happen after the two years.

Nah Romney ain't getting elected. There's too many sinners in America to vote for him. The conservatives are out numbered. America is to liberal for Romney! Obama has too much swag to lose! He'll scream YOLO and get all the votes LOL

Then how about the next election? It doesn't have to be Romney. It can be some other person. I am also sure a strong republican dominated congress can also overturn this. I am not saying this to be an ass, but I am sure there are lot of people have been screwed over before.

I don't understand,if anyone read the document it says you can re-apply after the two years are up.Basically,if there is to be any chance this President MUST be re-elected or the current DHS decision for 'Dreamers' will simply be reversed.
