Get a license I suppose. Then get back to the daily grind. Can't do anything if you don't have money, LOL.

I wanna first get a job in the city. I have some connections which can help me find a good one quick. Then I would like to split the cost of a car with my brother since we are both going to college in the city (NYC) and would take the train there so just to use it when we are not in school or work to take a girl out or to run errands. A car is more of a privilege not a necessity in my case tho but i still want one ill make life a bit easier.

Me: buy a car. ....Well get a license first, then buy a car =D Im thinking of a 2013 Dodge Challenger any thoughts?
First thing I'm going to do is go to church and thank God because in my heart I knew He would help all of us who are good people and just want to follow our dreams and help our families and get an equal chance same as everyone living here in the United States, a country that I love and is my home. I am Mexican because my parents are Mexican, but Iam very much American. Came to the US when I was 7 =) I am turning 31 in 3 months.... I know God is smiling down on all Dreamers now and although this is not the passage of the actual DREAM ACT, this is a chance and the only possible chance, so I'm very thankful and I'm going to take it. If you are currently 30, I say you try it as well because if the DREAM ACT does pass in the future, it will also have a 30 age maximum so this is it. Take it, hope for the best, pray and be thankful. I will always remember, June 15th, 2012. Congratulations to all of you. The work permits, be it that you are a good citizen and don't get yourself into trouble, will be renewed and that buys you TIME, time for things to change in Congress and then an actual path to residency. Go full force!!!

I already have a license since I am living in Washington. So the first thing would be to open a bank account once I get a work permit.

Why dnt you have a bank account? its the easiest thing to get, even as an illegal. I dont have much, no car or ID and worked under the table most of my work life, now a Sole proprietor , but I was able to get a bank account easily.

It's very easy to find job on campus with working permit and the salary is better than most places. I also go to college in nyc.

Well the thing is all the banks I've been to have asked for my valid passport and I could only show an expired one. It expired very long time ago like just 1-2 years after I entered this country. Since I am from South Korea and of military service age, the local Korean consulate wouldn't renew the passport unless I go back and serve in the military.
