Ask if you were encountered by CBP but let go, (so not arrested or given a Notice to appear, just "let go under their discression" for not being a high priority) can you apply inmmediatley altough you are not under removal proceedings ?

Well that was pointless. They told me that i had to wait 60 days, I asked for dates what kind of documents we were going to need, etc and they said to wait 60 days because they didnt have any information about yet.

Not surprising,This is actually how all laws work.There is a period for public consultation and they are forming the interpretation of the implementation via public comment and through Government lawyers.

Yeah I called too and the lady told me the same thing and read to me the DHS statement that was posted online. What gives! although she did tell me that she didnt think we would need an attorney to file for us.
