I got a message from a counselor today, that they only have records for my High School years, but that she can write a letter confirming my attendance at prior schools.

Does anyone have a "form or format" these type of letters should be written for immigration purposes ?

You have to go to the "Pupil Record Department." At least in my district, they have records since when i was in Kindergarten.

If you ask your high school counselor, of course she would only has high school record. They have no access to further student record. Call the department of education, and ask for a complete transcript . They can send it to you by mail or you can do a pick up.

p.s. im in nyc

Have you tried it? They will provide a complete record from elementary, middle and high school?
