I was asked the same question from a friend. I was honest with him and told him to get his GED and try it. I also told him, what if immigration sees you are 27 and got ur GED after June 15????? Based on the memo it reads they will decide if its a YES or a NO for ur permit. August needs to get here quick so we see the real rules!!!!!! :/

People have 2 years from June 15, 2012 to apply so there shouldn't be a limit on when you graduated or got your GED.

What if the law would have never happened? I guess she would still have the "FUCK school, let's drop out and make babies" mentality.
UGH this.

Not judging your cousin or anything -although I'd have to wonder how in this country someone can not graduate from HS, but you know, it is a bit odd how things work.
You would be surpised what some of us don't know. I was "left out" but I already know what I have to do. I can't judge her she was young orphan, no parents no guidance, pregant at 15 from an older man hence the cycle beyond. When I called her to tell her about it, she thought this was only for college students, or students in general when i told her she may* qualify but she had to get her GED, she was lost ofr words almost, in tears. Not making any excuses for her but your children is alot to havem undocumented, lost It's easier for someone to read and say she shoulda, coulda, someone of "us" need to have soem empathy for other and no be so quick to past judgement* IJS!

So many people don't want you as part of the community because for the longest time, you(Immigrants) have done nothing but exhaust the system of everything and drive up cost. Stop being so bitter, she has a special needs child who require alotta of attention. This is no excuse for her, but her "Poping babies as you say , is no different then your parent who may have brought you here EWI. Stop point fingers, potty mouth!!!

I'mnot certain exactly what happen, but the special needs child must have harmed the baby in some way, child had to be hospitalized, DCF(children and families) got involved being that they wer illegals, not awareof their rights, scaed, feared deportation, anytime, the aauthorities are involved in anyway, gave up their rights, I'm not certian all the facts, but that's just some of it...
