Hi guys...

I called my old highschool and requested a copy of my unofficial transcript. The problem is that they require a copy of state issued ID, which I don't have, before they send me one so I'm stuck. Anyone know what else I could use? I have an expired passport, and an expired DL, and my old college ID, but I'm not sure if any of them are any good.

Please help!

Could you get them in person?

Surely your high school student ID would suffice? Go down there in person and tell them that's the only form of ID you have at the moment.

I'm not saying this will work indefinitely but it's worth a shot

I would just use the expired DL, they might not even notice that it is expired but definitely renew the passport because you might need it for the process.

Yes, but they said I would still have to fill up a form and provide an ID, which they said I could do by fax. I'd basically just be there "in person" to pick it up once it's processed.

I was thinking of that actually, since I have all 4 of them from 9th-12th. I'm an alumni, so none of those would be recent.

I was thinking about doing all this once I got my renewal done, but the form said "STATE ISSUED ID" so I'm a bit confused. Will a foreign passport work?

if you really can't get the transcripts at least you have your high school ids (and I assume your high school diploma)...more than likely that will count as proof

^^

Thanks buddy. I have a copy of my unofficial transcript, but it was printed a few years back, but hopefully that's enough. Also got my school IDs, my diploma, and my HS yearbook. Hopefully I'm safe.

Worst case scenario, you can call up your High School and tell them to send the official transcript to your college. Specifically tell them to send it to a teacher you know in College, so once it gets there he or she can give it to you.
