I don't think USCIS or ICE would say: "OK. You no longer have deferred action so go back into the shadows like you were before you applied. Bye!"

If, somehow, deferred action were terminated for all those who qualify (say, by Romney), then I think something else would be in the works, or all the massive protests and marches would at least move Congress to pass something.

The USCIS FAQs up to now say that deferred action can be renewed after two years. It would have seemed logical that they would have specified such a significant limitation, i.e."Deferred action can be renewed after two years as long as the applicant has not attained the age of 31."
