I should rephrase... if he goes back to school or gains his GED he will meet the educational requirement because the educational requirement did not have to be meet the deadline June 15th,2012.You can go to the USCIS link to see what it says specifically.

An undocumented reporting another undocumented! Oh the irony is pretty awesome. Anyway, I personally do not care about people trying to cheat the system. I think it makes me look better because all of my stuff is legit. Also he is a high school dropout I doubt he will be able to outsmart the law.

I think the bigger picture is that you think this new law should be less lenient. Well I disagree, I think its fair, not perfect but good enough. Growing up the way I did its amazing that I am in college now. My sister almost didn't finish high school. Its not easy seeing your parent's constantly fight over money and the stress of deportation. You do not really know this guy or what made him choose his self destructive path.

Also, I think cheating the system is an inherent part of being undocumented. We are breaking the law by just being here, like it or not. I don't like this whole "Whatever I do is justified but whatever this undocumented person does is NOT"

I am not being a dick, I would be protecting our interest. Public opinion is very important in our case. This people are making us really look like criminals.

I do not care, he does not deserve a chance. I would go as far as taking him down, even if it means I go with him.

I just hate those people so much. It is about principles!

Maybe I exaggerated a bit. I would be smart and find a way not to go down with him! I am not stupid.

it's sad to see how many dreamers don't give a damn on cheating the system. What can I say?
I guess people have no morals these days.

Yesterday I was talking to a dude that came here when he was 14, dropped out of high school on his first year, and has a baby already. He was telling me that he'll just enroll back in school just to apply for the deferred action and get a better job. His family has money so there was no fkn excuse for him to leave HS and not go to college. Now he has a lawyer telling him that he can apply for this by just enrolling back in school while he's in the process and tell DHS that he dropped out of HS when he was 15 because of "economic hardship". Sorry but this kind of BS pisses me off!!! Why? Because there are those of us who went thru sweat, blood, and tears for this opportunity and now we have these kind of fkn loser assholes trying to cheat the system. Sorry for sounding selfish but this shit gets on my fkn nerves . Just wanted to vent.
I'm sorry but how is he "cheating the system"? -Other than lying about the "economic hardship" deal- I don't see any problem with him going back to school in order to qualify for deferred action. They may not even ask him "why he just enrolled back in school" as long as he meets all the requirements.

I obviously can't speak for his demeanor and behavior so I wont, but it seems to me that your issue with the kid is more personal than anything else, you just don't like him for some reason (other than the ones you stated).

Also, some of you guys need to get a grip and control your false outrage. Really.

Yeah, ding ding. If he meets all the requirements, then what do you all have against this guy? I know that we like to pretend that we're all 4.0GPA valedictorians working 85-hours a week in a coal mine for $2/hr, but I'm pretty sure that most of us are more like this guy than whatever it is that we're pretending to be.
